We can't get away from news about the economy. Whether it's debt, unemployment, taxes, or gas prices, sometimes it seems like it's all we hear about! And because the economy is bad, it's only natural that we pull back the reigns, batten down the hatches, prepare for the worst, whatever you want to call it...we don't feel like being generous people anymore. So many of us want to have a generous heart and we want God to have the same influence over our spending as He does over our morals, or our language, or our parenting. But how do we get there?
