Prayer

Here at Crossroads, we believe in the power of prayer. We are committed to the practice of prayer both individually and corporately. As a result, we see the hand of God moving in our lives, and in the lives of those around us.

Currently, we have opportunities for corporate prayer that are both open to anyone who would want to attend.

  • Our pre-service prayer happens every Sunday at 8:15 am. We pray for our Sunday services and all the ministries happening on campus, as well as those who will be joining us for church.
  • Our prayer gathering happens on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 12pm - 1pm. This is a guided time of prayer with worship and prompted moments of group prayer.

We know that it’s not always easy to open up and share what’s going on in your life. But life gets messy, and no matter who we are, we need people to come alongside and support us in prayer. If you need prayer for a specific need, let us know and your request will go to a committed team of prayer partners who regularly meet and lift people up to God in prayer.

Please don’t include advertising, vulgarity, political agendas, slander, personal information such as phone numbers or addresses, or personal accusations.

We pray over many requests each day so please keep it an appropriate length so we can give each request equal attention.

If you would like to speak with a chaplain, please call 360-256-9711 and ask for a chaplain.

  • Please pray for my dad, Greg, who is going into surgery soon to remove a tumor from his bladder. We are praying for total healing, and that the biopsy would turn up benign.
  • Please pray for me and two of my family members dealing with long Covid smell and taste being distorted and off. Not being able to smell and taste affects so much of our daily lives and food we use to enjoy no longer is good. It is hard to find foods that now taste good and eat. Please pray for our healing. Thank you and God bless
  • Please pray for the adult daughter of my coworker. She struggles with mental health and is in a critical state at the moment. She is a Christian and has solid mental health care and is productive member of her community. Please pray for her and her entire family who has been walking this road for some time.
  • I made a horrible mistake and severely wronged several people.

Please pray that it can be made right. And for closure, peace and comfort for all, for me to have a repentent heart, and wisdom going forward.
  • Prayer for financial support. Need food money, money for leech for dog, money for community college supplies. No car. Wants to be involved at CCC.
  • Thank You, Lord, for helping me with Emily's court application. Give me a spirit of excellence and wisdom. Help me to draft this application well. Let Emily as well as the attorney be very happy with my work. In Jesus' name Amen
  • LORD, as it is written in Psalm 5:12, surround and protect me with Your favour and love like a shield. Create a hedge of protection around me. Hide me from the enemy. In Jesus' name AMEN
  • Thank You Lord for protecting me emotionally, spiritually, physically and financially from Kairinos. Thank You, God, for restoring to me a hundredfold everything I have lost because of Kairinos. In Jesus’ name Amen
  • I am a police officer who was politically charged in 2020 for a use of force incident that I was previously cleared of.

Because of the political climate, a district attorney charged me with crimes relating to that incident.

Regardless of the issue, I am still fighting this and now recently may be getting fired as a result.

I’m not asking for luck, or good news. The only prayer I ask is that no matter what trial and setbacks continue to hit me and my family every year, I just want God to know that I want him with me every step. Don’t let me or my mind give up.

My family has been through a lot. More hell mentally than we Could imagine the last 2 years and all we want is to know that God is with us.
  • Lord, please let the weather in Zanzibar, Tanzania, be nice, warm and sunny when I go there later this month. Please give me divine connections and appointments in Zanzibar. Let me have an amazing time there and let me return back safely again to my country. Create a hedge of protection around me. Thank you Lord, for this opportunity. Go ahead of me Lord and make my paths straight. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen
