September 22, 2013 | Ken Wytsma

Justice is a rightness or certain rectitude between people and societies, structures, policies, cultural norms and laws. Injustice is the breakdown of what ought to be and justice is the existence or the promotion of what should be. Most people know justice as an ethical issue, as one of many concerns or "good things" that Christians should be interested in. But it's not just one of many good things, it's a theological necessity-one of the ways in which we come to know and learn about God. Learning about God should teach us about justice. And learning about justice should teach us about God.
