1. Stand your ground

  • Scripture Reference: Ephesians 6:10-13
  • Leader Notes
    • This kind of persistence would be a shameless act that would wake the whole household.
    • Standing your ground only works if your foundation is firm. If we stand on things other than God we are standing on sinking sand.
  • Questions for Reflection
    • Where is God calling you to steadfastly trust Him in this season?

2. Ask, Seek, Knock

  • Scripture Reference: Isaiah 55:8-9; Matthew 6:33
  • Leader Notes
    • We have to listen, learn from, and obey God.
    • Part of prayer is embracing the journey as our prayers transform us into the image of Jesus.
  • Questions for Reflection
    • When was the last time you spent time listening to the Lord in prayer? 
    • Share a time where God's 'no' to your prayer was actually a blessing that you were able to see in hindsight.

3. Trust the Father

    • We can get disappointed if God answers our prayers differently than we expect.
    • Trusting God means trusting that He knows what’s best for us, and for the people around us.
  • Questions for reflection
    • Is there any area in your heart where disappointment has prevented you from praying?
    • What does “Keep Knocking” in prayer mean to you in this season?
