Joanne Gerou

Joanne was born and raised in Southern California in a Christian home with her family of seven.  She accepted Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior and was baptized in her early teens.

After moving to the Pacific Northwest, Joanne pursued a 35-year career as an administrative professional, and Joanne and her husband Cliff blended a family of six children. Through this experience, they learned that God doesn’t make mistakes, and He will give you everything you need to be successful if you will only trust Him.

During this time, Joanne served for over 20 years at her local church in Kirkland, Washington, along with her husband, as Lead Ushers and Care Pastors overseeing the Usher/Greeter Volunteer Ministry for six Campuses.  She has served on several mission teams to Chile and Mexico.  She also led a ministry specializing in re-marriage and blending families.

Joanne retired from her career in September 2017, knowing that God had a plan for her life to serve Him in ministry.  Now, she is blessed and excited about the opportunity God has brought her to at Crossroads Church.  She loves serving God in the local church, her community, and her family, which has grown to include twenty-five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  She and her husband live in Washougal, Washington, where they are building their “final” dream home.
