Prayer
Here at Crossroads, we believe in the power of prayer. We are committed to the practice of prayer both individually and corporately. As a result, we see the hand of God moving in our lives, and in the lives of those around us.
Learn How to Pray
In 2023, our church led us through a message series on prayer called Into the Deep. It covered the importance of prayer, how to pray, and other practical tips. This series will help you grow in the spiritual discipline of prayer.
Message Series on PrayerCorporate Prayer Opportunities
Currently, we have two opportunities for corporate prayer that are both open to anyone who would want to attend.
- Our pre-service prayer happens every Sunday at 8:10 am. We pray for our Sunday services and all the ministries happening on campus, as well as those who will be joining us for church.
- Prayer360 is an opportunity for our church family to join together in around-the-clock prayer. You can sign up for a 30-minute time slot and follow our prayer guide as you pray each day. Click HERE to get started.
How Can We Pray For You?
We know that it’s not always easy to open up and share what’s going on in your life. But life gets messy, and no matter who we are, we need people to come alongside and support us in prayer. If you need prayer for a specific need, let us know and your request will go to a committed team of prayer partners who regularly meet and lift people up to God in prayer.
Please don’t include advertising, vulgarity, political agendas, slander, personal information such as phone numbers or addresses, or personal accusations.
We pray over many requests each day so please keep it an appropriate length so we can give each request equal attention.
If this is an emergency, please call 911.
If you would like to speak with a chaplain, please call 360-256-9711 and ask for a chaplain.
If you are considering taking your life, please call 1-800-273-8255 (National Suicide Prevention Lifeline).

It’s been a while but I’m still here. I have a personal prayer request. I have been diagnosed with cancer. Yesterday, Olga and I spent time with Dr. Dawson (my cancer specialist) to go over the treatment options. Please pray with us for wisdom from God to proceed in the right direction.
I have Squamous Cell Carcinoma in the lymph nodes on the left side of my neck. I have one more exam, a PET scan, to see if it has spread further. My options are surgery, or chemo, or radiation therapy, or a combination of surgery followed by radiation.
However, even though many times God heals through modern medicine, I believe God can heal supernaturally as well--without modern methods. That’s my preference. After all, Jesus said more than once to ask whatever you want (Jn 14:13-14; 15:7, 16; 16:23-24). Well, that’s what I want. I know that there are certain conditions to the Lord’s promises, and I intend to meet them all. For example, we must ask in faith. I am doing that. Anyw -

She had a very vivid dream about dogs barking very aggressively inside the house. She does not have dogs an when she went to check. The house was quiet. All the children were sleeping.
This is a very disturbing thing for her. She has asked me to reach out for information on how to interpret this -

Please pray for my son in law Donavon and all of our family. This is going to be the hardest week of his life. He's fighting against something bigger than we know. Bless him against all evil in the name of Jesus. Amen and Amen

Ephesians 2:8
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.
Pray for the Country of:
Kazakhstan
• Pray for well-trained, godly leaders, despite most Bible schools and seminaries being closed.
• Pray for Kazakh believers and church leaders, especially those pastors who lead secret churches and believers who now follow Jesus. Pray for their security amid increasing restrictions and government control.
• Pray for a radical change in the legislation that tightly restricts religious freedom.
