Learn to Pray

Here at Crossroads, we believe in the power of prayer. We are committed to the practice of prayer both individually and corporately. As a result, we see the hand of God moving in our lives, and in the lives of those around us.

In 2023, our church went through a message series on prayer called Into the Deep. It covered the importance of prayer, how to pray, and other practical tips. This series will help you grow in the spiritual discipline of prayer.

Corporate Prayer Opportunities

Pre-Service Prayer

Sundays at 7:15 AM

We pray for our Sunday services and all the ministries happening on campus, as well as those who will be joining us for church.

Monthly Prayer Meeting

Third Thursday of the Month at 9 AM

We gather for our Monthly Prayer Meeting from 9 AM to 10 AM in the Reach Center, located on the south side of the Family Room. Intentional time is spent praying for local, national, and global needs, as well as the personal needs of those who attend. The heart behind these gatherings is to provide a welcoming, non-intimidating space for anyone to come and pray, no matter where they are in their journey of faith.

Prayer360

Prayer360 is an opportunity for our church family to join together in around-the-clock prayer. Find weekly prayer prompts as we lift up our church, city, nation, and world to the Lord.

How Can We Pray For You?

We know that it’s not always easy to open up and share what’s going on in your life. But life gets messy, and no matter who we are, we need people to come alongside and support us in prayer. If you need prayer for a specific need, let us know and your request will go to a committed team of prayer partners who regularly meet and lift people up to God in prayer.

Please don’t include advertising, vulgarity, political agendas, slander, personal information such as phone numbers or addresses, or personal accusations.

We pray over many requests each day so please keep it an appropriate length so we can give each request equal attention.

I am in recovery with almost 4 months clean off of drugs I am in in a faith based clean and sobar living my kids dad is still struggling with his addiction and on the streets but also starting to consider treatment but is on edge I see it but I’m hopeing he gets the help he needs to get clean and I’m currently in family treatment court tryin to get my kids back (ages 5,3 and 1) in my custody my mom 71 years old mom has them for me so thavthwy aint in foate care my brother who was helping her took off days ago I think is secretly drinking and it’s putting a tole on my mom I’m tryin to help her as much as I can as well as do the yigs required for court and my sobar living place. I’m asking for gods presence , strength , guidance and help through it all.

I graduated with my MA in English language teaching (TESOL) this Fall, 2025. Please pray for wisdom and direction from the Lord as I prepare my resume, research and start applying for overseas English teaching positions. Pray that God will lead and direct me according to His will. Pray that the Lord will open the right position soon, and I will sign a good contract. Pray that I will learn the language well, and be able to serve the Lord faithfully for a long time in the country I move to. Thank you for your prayers.

Please pray for my husband and me as we grieve the loss of our baby, Riley. I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks and we lost the pregnancy at 6 weeks. In that short time, we had already begun imagining a future and a life with Riley, and the loss has been deeply heartbreaking for both of us. Right now I am feeling lost and I am struggling with sadness and questions about my faith. Please pray that we would find comfort, peace, and strength as we grieve Riley together. Pray that we can feel God’s presence even in this pain and slowly find hope again. Thank you for keeping our family and our baby Riley in your prayers.

Asking prayer for my Christian friend Jeanie. She has suffered from Parkinson’s disease and scoliosis for over 10 years. She recently saw a doctor to do back surgery but the doctor wants to do a 3D cervical fusion as he said she could choke and die the way her neck is positioned right now. The back surgery will be later but the cervical surgery is set for this coming Monday. We are praying healing for her body. Praying for the Doctor and staff. Praying for God to be glorified in this situation. They fly from Spokane to Phoenix on Sunday. Praying for traveling mercies too. Her husband is Jeff. Thank you 💞

Please pray for my son, Matt. At his routine physical a student didn’t like the look of a mole on his shin. The dr waved it off, the student persisted…doc said they could remove it if Matt was agreeable. Matt said, why not, the student could use the practice. He even taught the student how to do stitches (Matt is an Army medic). Pathology reported melanoma. He is understandably scared, found a few more questionable moles. Dermatology appt on Monday. Prayers for peace & healing & wisdom in my efforts to calm & comfort him. I told him that God already had His hands in it…considering the way the cancer was discovered. Praising God for that student.

A week ago, this past Thursday I fell in my dining room and a bunch of knee tissue so I’m asking for prayer that I don’t find out that I need surgery. I am in a brace until further notice and then this past Friday I was walking and a gentleman ended up hitting me with his truck just causing a bruise nothing major, but I am still suffering because it’s on the same side as the injured knee so I’m asking for prayers for a fast recovery and good news when I go in and see the therapist that could send me to a surgeon.
