Prayer

Learn to Pray

Here at Crossroads, we believe in the power of prayer. We are committed to the practice of prayer both individually and corporately. As a result, we see the hand of God moving in our lives, and in the lives of those around us.

In 2023, our church went through a message series on prayer called Into the Deep. It covered the importance of prayer, how to pray, and other practical tips. This series will help you grow in the spiritual discipline of prayer.

Corporate Prayer Opportunities

Pre-Service Prayer

Sundays at 7:15 AM

We pray for our Sunday services and all the ministries happening on campus, as well as those who will be joining us for church.

Monthly Prayer Meeting

Third Thursday of the Month at 9 AM

We gather for our Monthly Prayer Meeting from 9 AM to 10 AM in the Reach Center, located on the south side of the Family Room. Intentional time is spent praying for local, national, and global needs, as well as the personal needs of those who attend. The heart behind these gatherings is to provide a welcoming, non-intimidating space for anyone to come and pray, no matter where they are in their journey of faith.

Prayer360

Prayer360 is an opportunity for our church family to join together in around-the-clock prayer. Find weekly prayer prompts as we lift up our church, city, nation, and world to the Lord.

How Can We Pray For You?

We know that it’s not always easy to open up and share what’s going on in your life. But life gets messy, and no matter who we are, we need people to come alongside and support us in prayer. If you need prayer for a specific need, let us know and your request will go to a committed team of prayer partners who regularly meet and lift people up to God in prayer.

Please don’t include advertising, vulgarity, political agendas, slander, personal information such as phone numbers or addresses, or personal accusations.

We pray over many requests each day so please keep it an appropriate length so we can give each request equal attention.

If this is an emergency, please call 911.

If you would like to speak with a chaplain, please call 360-256-9711 and ask for a chaplain.

If you are considering taking your life, please call 988 (National Suicide Prevention Lifeline).

If you would like to share your request publicly but not share your name, please enter "Anonymous" in the Name field. Your email address will not be shared publicly.

Prayer Wall

Please pray for Janine. She is a pastors wife. She just found out that she has stage 4 thyroid cancer that has spread to her lungs. Her and her husband(Gary) are faithfully and successfully serving the Lord. He is the pastor of Christian Fellowship church in Pomona, California(a small growing church). Pray for Gary for guidance as to how to proceed with the medical treatment. Also, pray for Gary and the church he is ministering. They are branching out….moving to another location and praying that the Lord will grow the church. They need a worship team that would lead them to worship our King in Spirit and in truth. Satan is trying to hinder and even stop their ministry. This could be the reason why his wife is sick. Also, Bruce…..tremendous back pain. Andrew….a christian gone astray. Tracy….cancer

Please pray for our family as we grieve the passing of my sister Kathi, who went home to be with the Lord after a long and difficult journey following a severe stroke. We are grateful for the hope we have in Christ and the assurance that she is now healed and reunited with loved ones. Please lift up her husband of nearly 54 years, her two sons, and our entire family, especially as we prepare for the service this Saturday and seek God’s guidance for the days ahead. We give God the glory for His faithfulness through it all.

Prayers for myself please, physical issues are proving to be a bit overwhelming as everything seems to keep cascading into many different things. All require different doctors, tests ect and one thing impacts another. I am struggling, physically really uncomfortable, in need of surgery but too many other issues may keep putting that off. Mentally its tough, my dear sister Kathi entered Heaven on the 18th and all the family is grieving so much and her poor husband is devastated and I can’t travel and be there with them. Prayers for healing, direction, protection and ultimately that all of this is to God’s Glory and my good and my husbands, he is so faithful! Love to all, Pat

He is a medically complex patient. He is still working remotely at 87. Wisdom for him regarding work. Pray that I could put away my distractions and draw near to the Lord again. Thanks

Dear Heavenly Father, We lift up Pat Erickson to You as he battles stomach cancer. Lord, we ask that You guide the doctors and every medical decision being made. Give them wisdom, clarity, and steady hands. Please wrap Your loving arms around Pat, his family, and his close friends. Fill them with peace that passes understanding, strength for each day, and hope that does not waver. We trust You, Lord, and place Pat completely in Your care. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Hi Crossroads family! Sending a request for my bosses sister, Kelly S. She has battled and beaten a pretty serious cancer off and on for the last eight years. It has recently returned, so she is going back for more tests and treatment. Let’s agree together that the cancer will be dead and gone for good, comfort, for increased strength and faith, and that God is glorified through through it.

My husband and I have a friend who has been in our lives for over 7 years. He’s a believer but has been struggling a lot because of life situations. Last Friday the 3 of us went out and he made some choices and ended up spending the night at our house. He got very emotional about everything and asked why he couldn’t hear from God. My husband and I both sat with him for over two hours explaining to him that sometimes it’s not God’s will for us to hear from him and that when holding onto things from the past will prevent you from hearing from God. Him and my husband prayed that night and on Sunday he not only went to church with us but went forward and re committed his life to God. My husband and I were just thankful that God used us to reach out friend and remind him of Gods love.

I am in a very difficult life situation and currently living with family who have a history of abuse and continue to be emotionally and verbally harmful. Although I am an adult, it has been hard to gain independence due to my upbringing and current circumstances. As a student, I am limited in how much I can work, which makes moving out difficult. I am doing my best to lean on God and stay afloat, but I am struggling and in need of help and support as I try to find a healthier path forward.

I wanted to give a brief update on my AZ family. God made a beautiful way for my sister to be moved closer to family, which was truly a miracle. Her time is now very near, and while we grieve, we trust she will soon be with the Lord and reunited with loved ones. Our family is struggling, especially her husband and sons, but we know God is with them. I am hoping to travel soon but am dealing with some health issues, and there are many ongoing health and relational challenges within the family. Please pray for wisdom, comfort, peace, and God’s direction. Thank you so much for your prayers and love.

I am 55 days clean and currently in treatment, while my partner is still struggling with addiction. We are facing both CPS and court, and there is a real fear of losing our parental rights. My mom has been an incredible support and is caring for my children while I walk through this process. I am asking for prayer for my family, for God’s guidance and strength to stay strong, and that the courts would see my efforts and work with me toward reunification. Please pray for God’s will, His peace, and the reminder that He is with us every step of this journey.
