Learn to Pray

Here at Crossroads, we believe in the power of prayer. We are committed to the practice of prayer both individually and corporately. As a result, we see the hand of God moving in our lives, and in the lives of those around us.

In 2023, our church went through a message series on prayer called Into the Deep. It covered the importance of prayer, how to pray, and other practical tips. This series will help you grow in the spiritual discipline of prayer.

Corporate Prayer Opportunities

Pre-Service Prayer

Sundays at 7:15 AM

We pray for our Sunday services and all the ministries happening on campus, as well as those who will be joining us for church.

Monthly Prayer Meeting

Third Thursday of the Month at 9 AM

We gather for our Monthly Prayer Meeting from 9 AM to 10 AM in the Reach Center, located on the south side of the Family Room. Intentional time is spent praying for local, national, and global needs, as well as the personal needs of those who attend. The heart behind these gatherings is to provide a welcoming, non-intimidating space for anyone to come and pray, no matter where they are in their journey of faith.

Prayer360

Prayer360 is an opportunity for our church family to join together in around-the-clock prayer. Find weekly prayer prompts as we lift up our church, city, nation, and world to the Lord.

How Can We Pray for You?

We know that it’s not always easy to open up and share what’s going on in your life. But life gets messy, and no matter who we are, we need people to come alongside and support us in prayer. If you need prayer for a specific need, let us know and your request will go to a committed team of prayer partners who regularly meet and lift people up to God in prayer.

Please don’t include advertising, vulgarity, political agendas, slander, personal information such as phone numbers or addresses, or personal accusations.

We pray over many requests each day so please keep it an appropriate length so we can give each request equal attention.

Hello, I am requesting urgent intercessory prayer for my son Alexander to be healed. He has been battling cancer since the age of 15 and is now 36, married with two children and has stage 4 cancer. He is in and out of the hospital due to complications. His body is battered from so many treatments and surgeries. Please pray for God to heal him, that the tumor will dissolve and that the cancer will be completely removed from his body, all the pain and discomfort gone and his body, strength and finances restored. Your prayers are greatly appreciated and needed.

His church did not help him. He has left church and is struggling. He loves Jesus but thinks the churches don’t care or help. Please pray for me as I am brining the process to file for divorce from my husband who is abusive. We have two young children. I have tried to find ways to reconcile but things are not good. I’m grieving and sad for myself and my children. My husband is a Muslim person and I feel like I’m persecuted in my own home. My son, daughter and I live together and share household bills. In December my son lost his job and hasn’t been able to find work despite many interviews. In April my daughter lost her job and hasn’t found work. I was just given notice last week. All three of us will be unemployed. My daughter deals with severe depression and all of this has been pretty hard on her and us as family. We desperately need jobs. Thank you for your prayers.
