Learn to Pray

Here at Crossroads, we believe in the power of prayer. We are committed to the practice of prayer both individually and corporately. As a result, we see the hand of God moving in our lives, and in the lives of those around us.

In 2023, our church went through a message series on prayer called Into the Deep. It covered the importance of prayer, how to pray, and other practical tips. This series will help you grow in the spiritual discipline of prayer.

Corporate Prayer Opportunities

Pre-Service Prayer

Sundays at 7:15 AM

We pray for our Sunday services and all the ministries happening on campus, as well as those who will be joining us for church.

Monthly Prayer Meeting

Third Thursday of the Month at 9 AM

We gather for our Monthly Prayer Meeting from 9 AM to 10 AM in the Reach Center, located on the south side of the Family Room. Intentional time is spent praying for local, national, and global needs, as well as the personal needs of those who attend. The heart behind these gatherings is to provide a welcoming, non-intimidating space for anyone to come and pray, no matter where they are in their journey of faith.

Prayer360

Prayer360 is an opportunity for our church family to join together in around-the-clock prayer. Find weekly prayer prompts as we lift up our church, city, nation, and world to the Lord.

How Can We Pray for You?

We know that it’s not always easy to open up and share what’s going on in your life. But life gets messy, and no matter who we are, we need people to come alongside and support us in prayer. If you need prayer for a specific need, let us know and your request will go to a committed team of prayer partners who regularly meet and lift people up to God in prayer.

Please don’t include advertising, vulgarity, political agendas, slander, personal information such as phone numbers or addresses, or personal accusations.

We pray over many requests each day so please keep it an appropriate length so we can give each request equal attention.

Please pray for our sister in the Lord who gave me permission to send this request out. Sue had a seizure last week and has had more. This has never happened to her before. She has been to the emergency dept and will see a neurologist on Jan 22nd. She can’t drive for 6 months. She is a wonderful preschool teacher and serves in the kid’s ministry. Please pray for God to overwhelm her with so much peace that she will be in awe of it through this trying time. Pray for wisdom upon the neurologist and her. Pray that when she feels afraid our Heavenly Father will reach out to her and hold her close to His beating heart. Pray she will experience more of His presence, during this time, then she ever has, and that her sleep will be incredibly peaceful. May the Holy Spirit empower her, comfort her and strengthen her. And may she be surrounded by so much encouragement, may all her needs and more be met in Jesus name. Thank you ❤️

Hello, please pray for myself and my family (husband and 4-yr old son) as I’ve been out of work since July 2025 and have not been able to find a job after several interviews. I’ve also just found out my unemployment funds have run out this week with no extensions available. I no longer have an income and my husband has income but not enough to pay all of our needs and mortgage. We’ve put our house up for sale but have not had any offers after 40 days of listing. Please pray that we receive a miracle to help our financial needs with me being offered a job and/or our house being sold for our asking price to pay off all of our debt. Thank you!

In addition to that prayer, the immediate need is to find employment for these months before I move overseas. Please pray for solid, reliable employment during this season where I will be a blessing. My elderly mom is in poor health with severe anxiety and disability and is in a nursing home. My elderly dad is still independent but getting very frail. I know that we all have to die at some point, but I keep praying for their healing in every area of their lives and that God would give us more time together in this life. I don’t know if God hears me, so I’m asking others to pray for miracles for them. I hope he heals elderly people as well as young people. My entire family needs comforting and strength through this very tough time. We are all so tired physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
