Learn to Pray

Here at Crossroads, we believe in the power of prayer. We are committed to the practice of prayer both individually and corporately. As a result, we see the hand of God moving in our lives, and in the lives of those around us.

In 2023, our church went through a message series on prayer called Into the Deep. It covered the importance of prayer, how to pray, and other practical tips. This series will help you grow in the spiritual discipline of prayer.

Corporate Prayer Opportunities

Pre-Service Prayer

Sundays at 7:15 AM

We pray for our Sunday services and all the ministries happening on campus, as well as those who will be joining us for church.

Monthly Prayer Meeting

Third Thursday of the Month at 9 AM

We gather for our Monthly Prayer Meeting from 9 AM to 10 AM in the Reach Center, located on the south side of the Family Room. Intentional time is spent praying for local, national, and global needs, as well as the personal needs of those who attend. The heart behind these gatherings is to provide a welcoming, non-intimidating space for anyone to come and pray, no matter where they are in their journey of faith.

Prayer360

Prayer360 is an opportunity for our church family to join together in around-the-clock prayer. Find weekly prayer prompts as we lift up our church, city, nation, and world to the Lord.

How Can We Pray For You?

We know that it’s not always easy to open up and share what’s going on in your life. But life gets messy, and no matter who we are, we need people to come alongside and support us in prayer. If you need prayer for a specific need, let us know and your request will go to a committed team of prayer partners who regularly meet and lift people up to God in prayer.

Please don’t include advertising, vulgarity, political agendas, slander, personal information such as phone numbers or addresses, or personal accusations.

We pray over many requests each day so please keep it an appropriate length so we can give each request equal attention.

I am currently being treated for lymphoma and am now at the halfway mark of the treatments. On Friday, March 13th, I am scheduled to have a PET scan to determine the progress of the treatment. Please pray the scan will show that all cancer has been eradicated and God be given the glory! He has been with me throughout this hard journey and demonstrated over and over again that He alone is God! He has got this . . . and He has got me. So please pray for an “all clear” report on March 13th!

Please pray for my marriage and family. I have been seeking the Lord, asking Him to reveal the areas in my life that need to align with His will and to remove my fears of the unknown. Please pray that my husband would return home, that our children would have their dad again, and that we could rebuild our marriage stronger than before with God at the center. Pray for clear direction, next steps toward reconciliation, and renewed hope for our future. Also pray for strength and grace for me, and for our children—that their anger and sadness would not overwhelm them, but that they would find joy again.

Please pray for my neighbor (Troy). 7 months ago he was given a cancer diagnosis with life expectancy of 2 mths to 2 years. Recent MRI showed no improvement after chemo/radiation. I did have a moment to share God with him but praying God will heal him. Troy & his wife are a healthy, active couple so this news is tough. Thank you in advance for the prayers!

Our neighbor Toni’s partner passed away. She was only 33. Lost her battle to leukemia and huntington disease. Their daughter Harlyn is only 11yrs old. Please keep them in prayers. Thank you ♥️

Both my children have cut me out of their lives, my son is dealing with mental illness, and my daughter, I have no idea what happened. We didn’t argue or anything, she just decided. In any case, I would so appreciate prayer for reconciliation, and more importantly that they would turn to Jesus. Thanks very much.
