Prayer

Learn to Pray

Here at Crossroads, we believe in the power of prayer. We are committed to the practice of prayer both individually and corporately. As a result, we see the hand of God moving in our lives, and in the lives of those around us.

In 2023, our church went through a message series on prayer called Into the Deep. It covered the importance of prayer, how to pray, and other practical tips. This series will help you grow in the spiritual discipline of prayer.

Corporate Prayer Opportunities

Pre-Service Prayer

Sundays at 7:15 AM

We pray for our Sunday services and all the ministries happening on campus, as well as those who will be joining us for church.

Monthly Prayer Meeting

Third Thursday of the Month at 9 AM

We gather for our Monthly Prayer Meeting from 9 AM to 10 AM in the Reach Center, located on the south side of the Family Room. Intentional time is spent praying for local, national, and global needs, as well as the personal needs of those who attend. The heart behind these gatherings is to provide a welcoming, non-intimidating space for anyone to come and pray, no matter where they are in their journey of faith.

Prayer360

Prayer360 is an opportunity for our church family to join together in around-the-clock prayer. Find weekly prayer prompts as we lift up our church, city, nation, and world to the Lord.

How Can We Pray For You?

We know that it’s not always easy to open up and share what’s going on in your life. But life gets messy, and no matter who we are, we need people to come alongside and support us in prayer. If you need prayer for a specific need, let us know and your request will go to a committed team of prayer partners who regularly meet and lift people up to God in prayer.

Please don’t include advertising, vulgarity, political agendas, slander, personal information such as phone numbers or addresses, or personal accusations.

We pray over many requests each day so please keep it an appropriate length so we can give each request equal attention.

If this is an emergency, please call 911.

If you would like to speak with a chaplain, please call 360-256-9711 and ask for a chaplain.

If you are considering taking your life, please call 988 (National Suicide Prevention Lifeline).

If you would like to share your request publicly but not share your name, please enter "Anonymous" in the Name field. Your email address will not be shared publicly.

Prayer Wall

God is doing a work in my AZ family, I am so thankful for all who pray! I need prayer (pat). I have a lot of weird health issues that keep coming up. Everyday is getting harder to manage. I see a lot of Dr.s and have tests ect. I am currently being looked at for a brain clot/blockage. I can barely walk and need surgery but can’t have it until this other is taken care of or ruled out. Other stuff going on and honestly my mental state is very hard too. I really don’t feel good and I am battling turning to food to help. I have kept off 70lbs for a long time but its getting more difficult, the battle is hard. Thank you all!! Love, p

Thank you so much for praying for my family—I’m so grateful for each of you. Please continue to lift up my Arizona family. Today, Al (who just buried my sister three weeks ago) had a stroke while driving and caused a serious accident in Sierra Vista. By God’s grace, no one was killed, but several people were hurt. Al is in the hospital as doctors try to figure things out, and his son—who was in the car—is okay but shaken. Everything feels overwhelming, and there are very few family members able to help. Please keep praying for healing, strength, and provision.

Please pray for my best friend, Staci Taylor, as she undergoes cancer scans on Friday, March 20th. We are asking for peace and strength for her during this time, and for encouraging results—that the cancer is gone, or at the very least has not grown. Thank you so much for lifting her up in prayer.

My path is so narrow that I am stuck and I have no one but the Lord who has become lost to me. I married a woman who deceived in every way and I can’t get past it. I’m home with 3 kids under 5 everyday and the rage in me is consuming my heart and everything good about this season is being lost to me. Please pray for a breakthrough quickly. I’ve cried out so long I see I’ve given up. What happens then?

PRAISE FIRST! God has healed me of lymphoma!! Thank you for your prayers! I received official word today that the PET scan showed no cancer! I am cancer free!! PRAYER NEEDED: I have two more infusions to complete my treatment regimen. This is needed in case any cancer cells are hiding out the PET scan didn’t identify. Pray the infusions will go smoothly and be effective. Currently my red blood cells have dipped due to the treatment. Pray God will keep my white/red blood cells strong and steady and that my other numbers will continue to be normal. God is awesome!

Please pray for my marriage. For restoration, for my husbands heart to soften and receive God again. To not close off anymore to what God is doing in his life. Please pray for our family and our children. This is so incredibly difficult for us. We pray that he will come back home and our family can rebuild from something new not the old. Please pray for us.

I had been praying daily for the staff and leadership at my job. I received three major complaints at work in one week, from three different patients. I have worked there for 22 years. I live in Oregon and work in Washington, but other than that, I cannot share any details. However, these kind of complaints could seriously cost me my job. I personally believe they all stem from a spiritual attack designed to stop me from engaging in a prayer battle for myself and other coworkers. I am now afraid to pray too fervently and that is worse. Please pray that I will not lose my job and quit being a coward.

Please pray for a family going through a difficult custody situation today. There are deep spiritual and emotional struggles involved, and the outcome will greatly affect two young boys. Please pray for wisdom and justice in the court’s decision, protection over the children, healing for the family, and that God would work powerfully in every heart involved. Thank you for lifting this situation up in prayer.

Please pray for Barb, who has faced many serious health challenges over the years, including multiple cancers and chemotherapy. She currently has a blood clot in her leg that may require a thrombectomy, and she is also struggling with pneumonia and a persistent cough since January. Her immune system is very weak. She will have an ultrasound and CT scan next week, and if her lungs do not improve, doctors may need to perform another difficult procedure to clear them. Please also pray for the husband and two sons of Kathi, who passed away on February 18, as they are grieving deeply and in need of comfort and strength.
