Prayer

Learn to Pray

Here at Crossroads, we believe in the power of prayer. We are committed to the practice of prayer both individually and corporately. As a result, we see the hand of God moving in our lives, and in the lives of those around us.

In 2023, our church went through a message series on prayer called Into the Deep. It covered the importance of prayer, how to pray, and other practical tips. This series will help you grow in the spiritual discipline of prayer.

Corporate Prayer Opportunities

Pre-Service Prayer

Sundays at 7:15 AM

We pray for our Sunday services and all the ministries happening on campus, as well as those who will be joining us for church.

Monthly Prayer Meeting

Third Thursday of the Month at 9 AM

We gather for our Monthly Prayer Meeting from 9 AM to 10 AM in the Reach Center, located on the south side of the Family Room. Intentional time is spent praying for local, national, and global needs, as well as the personal needs of those who attend. The heart behind these gatherings is to provide a welcoming, non-intimidating space for anyone to come and pray, no matter where they are in their journey of faith.

Prayer360

Prayer360 is an opportunity for our church family to join together in around-the-clock prayer. Find weekly prayer prompts as we lift up our church, city, nation, and world to the Lord.

How Can We Pray for You?

We know that it’s not always easy to open up and share what’s going on in your life. But life gets messy, and no matter who we are, we need people to come alongside and support us in prayer. If you need prayer for a specific need, let us know and your request will go to a committed team of prayer partners who regularly meet and lift people up to God in prayer.

Please don’t include advertising, vulgarity, political agendas, slander, personal information such as phone numbers or addresses, or personal accusations.

We pray over many requests each day so please keep it an appropriate length so we can give each request equal attention.

If this is an emergency, please call 911.

If you would like to speak with a chaplain, please call 360-256-9711 and ask for a chaplain.

If you are considering taking your life, please call 988 (National Suicide Prevention Lifeline).

If you would like to share your request publicly but not share your name, please enter "Anonymous" in the Name field. Your email address will not be shared publicly.

Pls pray for my brother Eddie, 67yrs old and a believer. He has stage 4 terminal cancer and in hospice on vigil. He sleeps mostly. He is not eating or drinking, (4) days now. Pls pray the Lord take him home quickly and painless and in peace. Pls pray that Eddie feel the Lords constant presence to know he is not alone. That the Lord give him spiritual endurance. That scripture comes back to remembrance and flood his mind to comfort him and give him peace in knowing he is going to be with the Lord.

My ex husband is struggling with his addiction as well as some mental issues do to the addiction I guess and me and his family are in a custody battle over who should get my 3 older kids they want to return home to me but his family don’t think so so I’m asking for prayers on guidance and things for how to handle things and try to not put my kids through a lot at same time. I am in recovery myself and living in clean and sober housing and things and trying to do things right this time and stay on gods path and will of things as well as trusting God with it all and not get in my head on things.

I greet you in the powerful name of the Almighty Father God. I ask for prayer that the Lord Almighty will remove any negative thoughts from the minds and hearts of those who harbor them towards me. May Father God expose any lies against me and always protect me from any destructive or unlawful attacks. I ask for prayer that the Lord would dismantle every trap, negative conspiracy, or plot that opposes His divine will and plans He has for me and my wife. I ask for prayer for Father God to guide these individuals to focus on worshiping Christ the King rather than concerning themselves negatively with me and my wife life. I stand in agreement with the powerful prayer warrior assigned to my request. Halleluyah! “I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge.” Psalm 91:2-3. Amen. Thank You so Much!

Please pray for my friend. Her elderly mother fell last week and fractured her hip and her daughter is struggling with alcohol. With this and other life stuff she is having a hard time. She walked away from her faith many years ago but has expressed an interest in attending Crossroads with her daughter. Pray that they feel Gods love surrounding them during this time.

Asking for continued prayers for the AZ family. One of my nephews who has experienced an enormous amount of trauma ( along with my other fam) also has a diagnosis of Multiple personality disorder. He has been dangerous in the past and is now considered more so. He is in crisis currently as he relives his moms death and his dads suicide of 3 weeks ago . He has been threatening to his older brother and to one of my other sisters and her husband. Everyone is scared and and uncertain and everyone is also coping with severe grief and trauma! Please Pray! Myself (pat) I am struggling to deal with all of these things too in addition to dealing with some very difficult health issues. Thankyou for all your faithful support, things are overwhelming! Pat

Kellie’s dad has lived with us for the past 3 1/2 years in a self contained ADU apartment we built for him. Recently, his dementia seems to have worsened to the point where he needs more care than we are capable of providing. His tendency to wander at unpredictable times presents some safety risks that concern us. We have toured two memory care facilities and started the application process for relocating him ASAP. On Saturday, we talked with dad and explained the plan for a move and some details about what he could expect at a new place. He was as accepting and agreeable as could be expected. Very tough decision for us! Likely, weighs heavier on us than on him. Please pray that his assessment for care goes well and that he is accepted based on his needs. We also need favor with the State DSHS workers for approval. We appreciate any and all prayers during this time of transition.
