Prayer

Learn to Pray

Here at Crossroads, we believe in the power of prayer. We are committed to the practice of prayer both individually and corporately. As a result, we see the hand of God moving in our lives, and in the lives of those around us.

In 2023, our church went through a message series on prayer called Into the Deep. It covered the importance of prayer, how to pray, and other practical tips. This series will help you grow in the spiritual discipline of prayer.

Corporate Prayer Opportunities

Pre-Service Prayer

Sundays at 7:15 AM

We pray for our Sunday services and all the ministries happening on campus, as well as those who will be joining us for church.

Monthly Prayer Meeting

Third Thursday of the Month at 9 AM

We gather for our Monthly Prayer Meeting from 9 AM to 10 AM in the Reach Center, located on the south side of the Family Room. Intentional time is spent praying for local, national, and global needs, as well as the personal needs of those who attend. The heart behind these gatherings is to provide a welcoming, non-intimidating space for anyone to come and pray, no matter where they are in their journey of faith.

Prayer360

Prayer360 is an opportunity for our church family to join together in around-the-clock prayer. Find weekly prayer prompts as we lift up our church, city, nation, and world to the Lord.

How Can We Pray for You?

We know that it’s not always easy to open up and share what’s going on in your life. But life gets messy, and no matter who we are, we need people to come alongside and support us in prayer. If you need prayer for a specific need, let us know and your request will go to a committed team of prayer partners who regularly meet and lift people up to God in prayer.

Please don’t include advertising, vulgarity, political agendas, slander, personal information such as phone numbers or addresses, or personal accusations.

We pray over many requests each day so please keep it an appropriate length so we can give each request equal attention.

If this is an emergency, please call 911.

If you would like to speak with a chaplain, please call 360-256-9711 and ask for a chaplain.

If you are considering taking your life, please call 988 (National Suicide Prevention Lifeline).

If you would like to share your request publicly but not share your name, please enter "Anonymous" in the Name field. Your email address will not be shared publicly.

I want to pray for everyone in Sudan. I pray for everyone that is good within Sudan to be safe and escape from harm. The mothers, the children and fathers away from the dangerous situation that they are currently in. They’ve all been in deep conflict for months, but I pray that the conflict no longer continues and that the families that had to escape get meals to fill their bodies, that they are somewhere safe and warm to stay far from their dangerous area.

My adult niece a nephew were at my home tonight visiting. We got into a discussion about God and I asked them if they had ever asked Jesus into their heart and accepted Him as their Lord and Savior. They both said they were believers, but had never actually asked Him into their heart. I did the prayer with them and they both accepted Jesus Christ into their heart!! HALLELUJAH God is so so good!!

Hi Family, I’m in the beginning stages of starting a Christian group within my workplace. Please pray for God’s covering, more people will join, and the enemy will not have a foot-hold. My goal is for us to encourage eachother in the faith through Bible study, sending encouraging scripture on Teams, praying for one another, seeing salvation take place, walk a long side eachother, and keeping our company covered in prayer. No matter what area one works in – all are welcome. ❤️

This morning I was at ER for chest pressure & pain. As I was waiting, I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to walk around, stop at people’s side, & say: Asking Jesus to bring healing to you or comfort you. Responses: Thank you, smile, or a bewilder look.

Well faithful prayer peeps for my AZ family, tomorrow is a very huge day and needs massive amounts of prayer! My sister who is the a nursing home is finally being transported close to her home and fam after almost a year! Everyone who can help on the receiving end is sick with the flu. Her husband is flattened with it and her sons and sister. No one will be there to welcome her to the new place. She is very scared about the transport situation as she is almost completely immobile and no one there to look out for her. Thankfully everyone knows the Lord but these last months have taken a huge toll and this is only a part of everything but enough for now. Anyway Its a miracle no matter what and thank you for all the prayers! Praying you all will be blessed too! love, Pat

Just a quick shout out to the Lord for His faithfulness and thanks to all of you for the prayers! My sister is safely transported and settled at the new Nursing home, believe me none of this was simple but God made a way! My sister Barb is very sick with the flu and coping with a blood clot and potential cancer (liver/pancreas) and my Brother in law is also really sick. All that to say is that no one can visit with my sister who got transported down (was 100 miles away)and hasn’t had many visitors at all until they are well. Anyway, thanks for prayers! p

Please ask Christ to inspire empathy in the hardest hearts within Christian congregations, reminding us of warnings in Matthew 25:31-46 and James chapter 5 before Christ separates sheep from goats. Ask Him to turn our hearts for 20 seconds each day to pray for the renewal of the Church like the bones in Ezekiel 37, restoring to us His favor and sanctifying us for effective fulfillment of His Greatest commision. Finally, as people in power focus more on their own personal gain than their responsibility to their neighbor, ask that God remind us consequences faced by the rich man in Luke 16:19-31.

Trudy is having eye surgery on Thursday to try and save her eyesight in one eye. Doctors are telling her that surgery isn’t going to fix her eye only hopefully save her vision. She has been getting monthly injections in the eye to preserve vision. After surgery the injections will need to increase to twice monthly with insurance only coving one treatment a month.

My wife and kids would be protected from demonic attacks and visitations at night . We would have a hedge of protection around us, our children, our home . God would dismantle every plan of the enemy and all existing curses would be destroyed. We would be able to move forward.

*For my son Austin, please pray that he would open his heart to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Grant him spiritual discernment to navigate the world’s influences, and bring a godly mentor into his life to guide his walk. I also ask that You prepare a Christian girlfriend for him—someone who loves You and will encourage him in his faith. *For my daughter Zoe, please pray for Gods peace to fill her heart. Teach her how to control her anger and replace it with Your patience and joy. I also ask that You provide her with a loyal Christian friend who will be a source of strength and positive influence. Thank you so much
