Learn to Pray

Here at Crossroads, we believe in the power of prayer. We are committed to the practice of prayer both individually and corporately. As a result, we see the hand of God moving in our lives, and in the lives of those around us.

In 2023, our church went through a message series on prayer called Into the Deep. It covered the importance of prayer, how to pray, and other practical tips. This series will help you grow in the spiritual discipline of prayer.

Corporate Prayer Opportunities

Pre-Service Prayer

Sundays at 7:15 AM

We pray for our Sunday services and all the ministries happening on campus, as well as those who will be joining us for church.

Monthly Prayer Meeting

Third Thursday of the Month at 9 AM

We gather for our Monthly Prayer Meeting from 9 AM to 10 AM in the Reach Center, located on the south side of the Family Room. Intentional time is spent praying for local, national, and global needs, as well as the personal needs of those who attend. The heart behind these gatherings is to provide a welcoming, non-intimidating space for anyone to come and pray, no matter where they are in their journey of faith.

Prayer360

Prayer360 is an opportunity for our church family to join together in around-the-clock prayer. Find weekly prayer prompts as we lift up our church, city, nation, and world to the Lord.

How Can We Pray for You?

We know that it’s not always easy to open up and share what’s going on in your life. But life gets messy, and no matter who we are, we need people to come alongside and support us in prayer. If you need prayer for a specific need, let us know and your request will go to a committed team of prayer partners who regularly meet and lift people up to God in prayer.

Please don’t include advertising, vulgarity, political agendas, slander, personal information such as phone numbers or addresses, or personal accusations.

We pray over many requests each day so please keep it an appropriate length so we can give each request equal attention.

Prayer Wall

Asking prayer for my Christian friend Jeanie. She has suffered from Parkinson’s disease and scoliosis for over 10 years. She recently saw a doctor to do back surgery but the doctor wants to do a 3D cervical fusion as he said she could choke and die the way her neck is positioned right now. The back surgery will be later but the cervical surgery is set for this coming Monday. We are praying healing for her body. Praying for the Doctor and staff. Praying for God to be glorified in this situation. They fly from Spokane to Phoenix on Sunday. Praying for traveling mercies too. Her husband is Jeff. Thank you 💞

Please pray for my teacher, Mr. Joy, who is not going to be at the school next year, as he is getting fired, and he doesn’t have a job he can go to. 🙁 please pray for him that he will be able to get a job so he can survive, and I pray that god will be with him through all this. Bless you souls

Please pray for my son, Matt. At his routine physical a student didn’t like the look of a mole on his shin. The dr waved it off, the student persisted…doc said they could remove it if Matt was agreeable. Matt said, why not, the student could use the practice. He even taught the student how to do stitches (Matt is an Army medic). Pathology reported melanoma. He is understandably scared, found a few more questionable moles. Dermatology appt on Monday. Prayers for peace & healing & wisdom in my efforts to calm & comfort him. I told him that God already had His hands in it…considering the way the cancer was discovered. Praising God for that student.

A week ago, this past Thursday I fell in my dining room and a bunch of knee tissue so I’m asking for prayer that I don’t find out that I need surgery. I am in a brace until further notice and then this past Friday I was walking and a gentleman ended up hitting me with his truck just causing a bruise nothing major, but I am still suffering because it’s on the same side as the injured knee so I’m asking for prayers for a fast recovery and good news when I go in and see the therapist that could send me to a surgeon.

Update on Matt: surgery on Wednesday to remove much more tissue from the melanoma site. Found two more moles suspected to be melanoma as well. Praying that these were found early enough and no more will be discovered.

I was praying that God would put somone in my path in the mornings before my day starts. Sure enough, as I was picking up decorative rock for our place. God seamed to be putting this young man that was working there on my heart, but wasn’t really sure. After loading my trailer, and starting to take off. I realized this was the young man that God had put in my path. So I turned my truck off and went inside and proceeded to get to now and share Christ love with this young man. And I was even able to pray with Brian and his wife. Brian told me that he really needed to hear this and be prayed for. I shared with him that I had asked God to put someone on my heart this morning, and he was the one. Whatca joy that God can use a old sinner like myself to share Christ’s love.
