Learn to Pray

Here at Crossroads, we believe in the power of prayer. We are committed to the practice of prayer both individually and corporately. As a result, we see the hand of God moving in our lives, and in the lives of those around us.

In 2023, our church went through a message series on prayer called Into the Deep. It covered the importance of prayer, how to pray, and other practical tips. This series will help you grow in the spiritual discipline of prayer.

Corporate Prayer Opportunities

Pre-Service Prayer

Sundays at 7:15 AM

We pray for our Sunday services and all the ministries happening on campus, as well as those who will be joining us for church.

Monthly Prayer Meeting

Third Thursday of the Month at 9 AM

We gather for our Monthly Prayer Meeting from 9 AM to 10 AM in the Reach Center, located on the south side of the Family Room. Intentional time is spent praying for local, national, and global needs, as well as the personal needs of those who attend. The heart behind these gatherings is to provide a welcoming, non-intimidating space for anyone to come and pray, no matter where they are in their journey of faith.

Prayer360

Prayer360 is an opportunity for our church family to join together in around-the-clock prayer. Find weekly prayer prompts as we lift up our church, city, nation, and world to the Lord.

How Can We Pray for You?

We know that it’s not always easy to open up and share what’s going on in your life. But life gets messy, and no matter who we are, we need people to come alongside and support us in prayer. If you need prayer for a specific need, let us know and your request will go to a committed team of prayer partners who regularly meet and lift people up to God in prayer.

Please don’t include advertising, vulgarity, political agendas, slander, personal information such as phone numbers or addresses, or personal accusations.

We pray over many requests each day so please keep it an appropriate length so we can give each request equal attention.

Prayer Wall

Please keep me in your prayers. My lease was terminated, and I am still looking for a place to live. I am low income and can’t find a place that I can afford. The Lord has closed several doors and I’m just praying that he would open the right one. Thank you for your prayers

I was praying that God would put somone in my path in the mornings before my day starts. Sure enough, as I was picking up decorative rock for our place. God seamed to be putting this young man that was working there on my heart, but wasn’t really sure. After loading my trailer, and starting to take off. I realized this was the young man that God had put in my path. So I turned my truck off and went inside and proceeded to get to now and share Christ love with this young man. And I was even able to pray with Brian and his wife. Brian told me that he really needed to hear this and be prayed for. I shared with him that I had asked God to put someone on my heart this morning, and he was the one. Whatca joy that God can use a old sinner like myself to share Christ’s love.

I was just diagnosed with colon cancer at the age of 62. My husband is a heart transplant patient. my prayer request should be for God to heal me, and I want that to be my prayer, but that is so selfish. My prayer requested that God will walk side-by-side with me through this journey that he would give my husband peace confidence I pray for healing I pray for peace, just the strength to go through this with me

Please pray for my son. He is suffering from severe, at times excruciating pain, and the doctors have not been able to determine the cause. He’s struggling physically and emotionally, and is beginning to lose hope. We are asking for prayers for immediate relief from his pain, clear answers and direction for his care, and for doors to open so he can receive the help he desperately needs. Please also pray for renewed hope, strength, and peace for him during this incredibly difficult time.

God is doing a work in my AZ family, I am so thankful for all who pray! I need prayer (pat). I have a lot of weird health issues that keep coming up. Everyday is getting harder to manage. I see a lot of Dr.s and have tests ect. I am currently being looked at for a brain clot/blockage. I can barely walk and need surgery but can’t have it until this other is taken care of or ruled out. Other stuff going on and honestly my mental state is very hard too. I really don’t feel good and I am battling turning to food to help. I have kept off 70lbs for a long time but its getting more difficult, the battle is hard. Thank you all!! Love, p

Thank you so much for praying for my family—I’m so grateful for each of you. Please continue to lift up my Arizona family. Today, Al (who just buried my sister three weeks ago) had a stroke while driving and caused a serious accident in Sierra Vista. By God’s grace, no one was killed, but several people were hurt. Al is in the hospital as doctors try to figure things out, and his son—who was in the car—is okay but shaken. Everything feels overwhelming, and there are very few family members able to help. Please keep praying for healing, strength, and provision.

PRAISE FIRST! God has healed me of lymphoma!! Thank you for your prayers! I received official word today that the PET scan showed no cancer! I am cancer free!! PRAYER NEEDED: I have two more infusions to complete my treatment regimen. This is needed in case any cancer cells are hiding out the PET scan didn’t identify. Pray the infusions will go smoothly and be effective. Currently my red blood cells have dipped due to the treatment. Pray God will keep my white/red blood cells strong and steady and that my other numbers will continue to be normal. God is awesome!
