Prayer

Learn to Pray

Here at Crossroads, we believe in the power of prayer. We are committed to the practice of prayer both individually and corporately. As a result, we see the hand of God moving in our lives, and in the lives of those around us.

In 2023, our church went through a message series on prayer called Into the Deep. It covered the importance of prayer, how to pray, and other practical tips. This series will help you grow in the spiritual discipline of prayer.

Corporate Prayer Opportunities

Pre-Service Prayer

Sundays at 7:15 AM

We pray for our Sunday services and all the ministries happening on campus, as well as those who will be joining us for church.

Monthly Prayer Meeting

Third Thursday of the Month at 9 AM

We gather for our Monthly Prayer Meeting from 9 AM to 10 AM in the Reach Center, located on the south side of the Family Room. Intentional time is spent praying for local, national, and global needs, as well as the personal needs of those who attend. The heart behind these gatherings is to provide a welcoming, non-intimidating space for anyone to come and pray, no matter where they are in their journey of faith.

Prayer360

Prayer360 is an opportunity for our church family to join together in around-the-clock prayer. Find weekly prayer prompts as we lift up our church, city, nation, and world to the Lord.

How Can We Pray For You?

We know that it’s not always easy to open up and share what’s going on in your life. But life gets messy, and no matter who we are, we need people to come alongside and support us in prayer. If you need prayer for a specific need, let us know and your request will go to a committed team of prayer partners who regularly meet and lift people up to God in prayer.

Please don’t include advertising, vulgarity, political agendas, slander, personal information such as phone numbers or addresses, or personal accusations.

We pray over many requests each day so please keep it an appropriate length so we can give each request equal attention.

If this is an emergency, please call 911.

If you would like to speak with a chaplain, please call 360-256-9711 and ask for a chaplain.

If you are considering taking your life, please call 988 (National Suicide Prevention Lifeline).

If you would like to share your request publicly but not share your name, please enter "Anonymous" in the Name field. Your email address will not be shared publicly.

Prayer Wall

Please pray for me to get closer with Jesus and follow his word. As a new believer, I’m having a hard time being obedient to his law.

My mom, Wendy, has been in the hospital since Wednesday with Metapneumovirus and is struggling. Her husband, Bob, was just released from the hospital Monday and is recovering from lung surgery (cancer). When my mom gets released (no date yet) she can’t go home for a while because it would be very dangerous for her husband to catch this. We (the family) are supporting them but could use some extra prayers. Thank you.

Dear God, Thank You for open doors, hopeful news, and the promise of light in difficult times. I pray for healing, strength, and renewal for those facing illness, pain, hardship, and uncertainty. Bring physical healing, emotional peace, lifted spirits, and renewed hope to those carrying deep burdens. Protect Ompah, its land, its community, and all who call it home. May justice, compassion, and truth prevail for those struggling to rebuild their lives and find stability again. Strengthen those who feel weary, isolated, or discouraged, and surround them with care, wisdom, and support. Bless those seeking purpose, soulful connection, and deeper understanding. Help us grow in kindness, resilience, honesty, and love. May we be guided toward peace, health, courage, and meaningful connection with one another. Amen.

Dear God, pray for Prince William Arthur Phillip Louis of Wales, to have straight talk with God “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5-6 For overcoming obstacles and getting unstuck “I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron.” — Isaiah 45:2 For a fresh start and fixing past mistakes “Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder things of the past. Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it?” — Isaiah 43:18-19 For correcting behavior and holding yourself accountable “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” — Romans 12:2

Dear God, i am thankful for open doors, promises of light, pray for Blondie, Sarah Kelkirk, , Viola Cleo Bradshaw and all blondes and Diana Krall or Michael Joseph St Pierre, from a spirit of madness, and pray all last effects of Ebowla a virus die, defeat penis snakes, and lighten their hearts, showing the ugly face a way of beauty, pray with me, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? You are the One who hears and the One who sees. I am not You and can neither hear nor see, Please God, remind me that you are with me. Even in loss, isolation, despair and grief Please guard my heart and my mind against the thief. I lift my eyes up to the hills, where does my help come from? I am half waiting, half drowning, and I am feeling so numb. God, I know you’re there. Please hold me tight. This fallen world has come for me like a wolf in the night. When I fall into despair, feeling alone and deserted, Never leave me nor forsake me, in you I have trusted. You are my rock and my shelter, my anchor at sea You promise mornings with joy, please grant that for me. In this muck and this mire lead me through by the hand Reminding me daily I’m not alone in this land. Amen
