Dear Prayer Team, I am asking for prayers for my daughter, Genesis, who is struggling with alcohol addiction. She has developed severe pancreatitis, which has caused her a great deal of pain. She has been hospitalized for nearly two weeks and has admitted that she did not feel strong enough to stop drinking on her own. Today, she is scheduled to enter a rehabilitation facility, and I pray this will be the beginning of her healing and recovery. As her mother, this has been one of the hardest journeys I have faced. Thankfully, this past Saturday she accepted my support, and I was able to spend time with her, help her run errands, and take her to get her hair done. I cherish that time together. Please pray that God gives Genesis the strength, courage, and determination to overcome this addiction. Pray for complete healing of her body, especially her pancreas, and for restoration of her mind, heart, and spirit. Please also pray that she understands how deeply she is loved. We care for her unconditionally and want only the best for her. Pray that she will no longer push away those who are trying to help her and that she will be open to receiving the love, support, and guidance being offered to her. I have been praying constantly, and at times I feel discouraged, wondering if God hears my prayers. Please pray for me as well, that my faith remains strong, that I trust God’s timing, and that I find peace knowing He is working even when I cannot see it. I’m asking for prayers concerning my wife Betty. She’s currently in the hospital right now. She was admitted three days ago for internal bleeding. The bleeding has stopped but they can’t figure out why her blood levels keep dropping. I’m very worried about her. I need her to get better so she can come home. Thank you.

Ephesians 5 6Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. He is encouraging me to continue living in sin for some reason he thinks we have a get out of jail free card because we believe that Jesus died for our sins. 😭 pretty much all of chapter 5 says to walk away.

Please pray for my brother-in-law. He has been struggling with drug addiction and drug induced psychosis. Please pray that God breaks the chains of addiction, depression and anxiety.

I work at Walgreens and I’m a shift lead and I deal with money and I’m always on the night shift. I just pray that God always has my back when I’m doing money one mess up and they just could let you go and I’m just asking God, I love my job. Please protect me when I’m doing money and let the truth always come out if I’m off on money in Jesus name.

It’s been well over a year since our family departed from Vancouver due to employment reasons. I just want to say thank you crossroads family for our time together and for the prayers over our family. We do listen to crossroads services from time to time still but have found a new church home down here where we’re beginning to get more planted in and serving. We enter yet another new season with many more blessings than we could have imagined with the move back to California. Not sure who remains back in the couve still but really just want to send a word of encouragement to keep praying. Thank you crossroads family. Our family left with lanterns filled with oil all thanks to your love and willingness to simply respond to Jesus. Prayer for dear neighbors in their 80’s as the husband undergoes surgery Monday. His wife is struggling just to hold it together as her faith is challenged. May God reveal Himself to them by providing peace, calm and a restoration of faith.
