Learn to Pray

Here at Crossroads, we believe in the power of prayer. We are committed to the practice of prayer both individually and corporately. As a result, we see the hand of God moving in our lives, and in the lives of those around us.

In 2023, our church went through a message series on prayer called Into the Deep. It covered the importance of prayer, how to pray, and other practical tips. This series will help you grow in the spiritual discipline of prayer.

Corporate Prayer Opportunities

Pre-Service Prayer

Sundays at 7:15 AM

We pray for our Sunday services and all the ministries happening on campus, as well as those who will be joining us for church.

Monthly Prayer Meeting

Third Thursday of the Month at 9 AM

We gather for our Monthly Prayer Meeting from 9 AM to 10 AM in the Reach Center, located on the south side of the Family Room. Intentional time is spent praying for local, national, and global needs, as well as the personal needs of those who attend. The heart behind these gatherings is to provide a welcoming, non-intimidating space for anyone to come and pray, no matter where they are in their journey of faith.

Prayer360

Prayer360 is an opportunity for our church family to join together in around-the-clock prayer. Find weekly prayer prompts as we lift up our church, city, nation, and world to the Lord.

How Can We Pray For You?

We know that it’s not always easy to open up and share what’s going on in your life. But life gets messy, and no matter who we are, we need people to come alongside and support us in prayer. If you need prayer for a specific need, let us know and your request will go to a committed team of prayer partners who regularly meet and lift people up to God in prayer.

Please don’t include advertising, vulgarity, political agendas, slander, personal information such as phone numbers or addresses, or personal accusations.

We pray over many requests each day so please keep it an appropriate length so we can give each request equal attention.

Please pray for my adult son. He is a believer who’s been going through dry tough times for over 5 years due to his wife divorcing him and marrying a non-believer who has more money. His church did not help him. He has left church and is struggling. He loves Jesus but thinks the churches don’t care or help. He needs the care and concern of true believers but is hardened by his disappointment and pain.

Please pray for me as I am brining the process to file for divorce from my husband who is abusive. We have two young children. I have tried to find ways to reconcile but things are not good. I’m grieving and sad for myself and my children. My husband is a Muslim person and I feel like I’m persecuted in my own home. I make the mistake to marry and I struggling with the knowledge that I choose this and am feeling hopeless and unsure what the future is for me as a Christian believe for years but have made a lot of mistakes. I need guidance and hope and to make the right choice before the Lord for my family.

I would like a prayer for my friend’s 13 year old daughter, I have seen the power of prayer and I believe this is the answer, they are not in the church much, despite my best efforts but I hope you can help, her daughter is being bullied and its becoming harder for her to make the right choices, please help pray for the lord to draw them both close, guide them, protect them and take away their anxiety and sorrows. My son, daughter and I live together and share household bills. In December my son lost his job and hasn’t been able to find work despite many interviews. In April my daughter lost her job and hasn’t found work. I was just given notice last week. All three of us will be unemployed. My daughter deals with severe depression and all of this has been pretty hard on her and us as family. We desperately need jobs. Thank you for your prayers.

Please pray for my family as I navigate both family treatment court and criminal court. Pray that the courts would work together and recognize the progress I have made in my recovery and compliance. Please pray for wisdom, favor, and positive outcomes so that my children can safely return home and our family can be reunited. Pray also for peace as I trust God through this process and continue growing into the mother and person He is calling me to be.

I believe he will restore my kids to me. Even in jail I didn’t stop believing. It has been 58 days since I have seen my kids. I go to court on the 11th and praying I will get custody of my kids. I need God. He is the only way out. Please pray!
